What Guests Are Saying
Boca Rest Campground features beautiful scenery and spacious sites, with many campers appreciating the lake for activities like paddle boarding. The campground host, John, received praise for his helpfulness, although some guests found him to be overly strict regarding vehicle regulations. While there are concerns about beach access, the cleanliness of facilities, and issues with flies and garbage, many guests expressed their intention to return and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Camp Host was excellent. Amenities were excellent. Fishing was very good. Only downside is that the campsites are very close to each other and lack of trees for shade. There is another campground nearby (1 mile), not lakeside, but offers shade from being in the trees. All in all, I'd go back again.

We had a great time, the only thing that would have made it better was the water. We were there during constrution of the dam so the water was very low.

Water was pretty low, like you could see the bottom of the lake los, but it opened up an experience of exploring for the younger of our group. Some sections were pretty loud, people wise. Plenty of trail to explore dirt biking. Kayaking is appropriate for this lake.
