The down side of this campground and really most campgrounds now is people making reservations and not showing up. It's a flawed system. I'm not sure how to fix it but I would prefer first come first served. Maybe Rangers could flag sites that people don't show up to the first night, thus making the site available for others to use.

Road to Peltier Bridge is the start of the adventure! It was a little rough: be especially careful where road transitions on/off the bridge on either end. But it is passable for even smaller passenger with reasonable ground clearance.
Don't expect a lot of bells & whistles: it's a pretty primitive campground. Bathrooms were vault toilets. But it's quiet & inspiring, next to a scenic creek with plenty of relaxing flowing water noise to fall asleep to. Sites are well-spaced with plenty of room to set up tents, chairs, etc. The low camping fee was extremely reasonable.
Most sites drive-up, but mine (#1) was a short walk in over a sturdy footbridge. Site had a table, fire grate, and bear-proof storage.
Unfortunately, not a great night's sleep for me, but that was due to rain. Specifically, every wind gust shook mini-torrents down from the overhead trees onto my tent's rainfly, waking me up repeatedly. Not the fault of the campground, though; Mother Nature just had it in for me that night!
Great site for anyone looking to get away from the larger concessionaire-operated campground, who doesn't mind a little effort to get there & only basic amenities.
