Wish we would have known that our parking pad is by the side of the campsite driveway instead of the usual sideways parking that goes into the campsite like our neighbors. If you are planning to use a ground tent, this site should be fine for you. We have a rooftop tent, so we had to maneuver our truck where it doesn’t block the driveway but still had room enough to get into and out of our tent. It’s across from the restroom. The restroom is somewhat clean and has toilet paper, but make sure you bring your own soap. Campsites are kind of close to one another. Snoring and coughing can be heard at night. This was a Sunday night, so all campsites were booked.

An Incredible and Family-Oriented Camping Adventure
Our family had a fantastic experience at this warm and inviting campsite! We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit. Site 507 provides a paved parking space right next to the campsite, located around 15 feet away, with restroom facilities approximately 45 feet from your tent. The site includes a picnic table, a fire pit with a grill, and room for a bonfire. As bears are known to be in Yosemite, please exercise caution and utilize the amenities provided for your safety.
Remember to leave no trace behind!

Campground location is very convenient and away from the hustle and bustle of Yosemite Valley, near a gas station with food/ice and right next to Tioga pass. Be warned old campground maps online are NOT accurate. The entire campground has been redone and re-numbered. Old maps show this site on the back end of the loop away from other sites when it is in fact facing the entry road and one of the first sites when you enter the loop on the left. Lots of dirt and dust since everything was newly graded. New facilities and equipment a big plus. We were early here early season and the hosts were just starting, they seemed to be on it. Although there was quite a lot of campsite poaching with people showing up late at night and leaving early morning before rangers/host check…

The site is pretty far away from the Valley, but because of that it had available spots. It was also pretty hilly. But it was well maintained, especially compared to other more trafficed facilities in the Yosemite park.

Campground is beautiful and we loved the location. Unfortunately when we got there with our van we were told that there was a problem with the bathrooms in our site and so we were moved in a spot that’s wasn’t leveled at all and we had to put rocks under the wheels of our van (both nights, a little bit annoying). Overall we had a good experience, it would have been nice to have showers…
