We reserved multiple sites, I even called in to make sure they were nice sites that would accommodate all our guests. Luckily many people ended up not going, between the two sites that were next to each other we could barely fit 3 tents because they were on steep hills! My cousins ADA trailer site was flat and nice so we ended up hanging there majority of the time.

Car camped at Crane Flats for a day. Nice campground. Well maintained. Wasn't able to stay longer since all spots were already reserved for the dates I was visiting Yosemite. It was one of the few campgrounds where flush toilets and running water were still available after the wet winter/deep snowpack filled the septic tanks.

This location is pretty great especially if coming in towards the valley from the west. Very quiet, we found a great spot between a bunch of boulders towards the back of the loop. It was great!

The most memorable part was the guy who woke up the entire campground at 4:30am by shockingly loudly blowing up the bathroom. To that guy: we all sincerely hope you're okay and that you were able to enjoy the rest of your visit to Yosemite. :)
To everyone else, this campground was peaceful and clean, no bears that night, often patrolled by staff or rangers, was an overall great stay! All four of us hammock camped in the trees at our site, and there was room for more hammocks easily. This campground is a great spot to stay kind of in between Tuolumne Meadows and the Valley—a great middle ground. 10/10

A gorgeous place to camp. Quieter than the valley, lots of space, beautiful boulders that separate many of the campsites. It’s an easy drive (about 15 min) down to the valley with incredible views the whole way. We will happily choose this campground again.

Beautiful spot to spend a night at. Noticed no issues with on-site infrastructure. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is kinda far from the valley village, and the road is also quite steep. Allocate time with a good margin if you're coming to the park from the south.
