Stayed at site 55 with a 2 person and and 3 person tent. I had been planning to set up on the parking pad because the description said there was no room for a tent at the site, but that was not the case. There were clearly used spots away from the firepit to set up tents. Being right next to the garbage cans means that people walk through your parking pad to get to them, but it was not really a big deal as it mostly stopped overnight. A lot of the sites nearby had grass growing right up to the firepit that seemed like a pretty big fire hazard. I clipped a bunch away from ours, but I'm sure it'll grow back. Seems like a bit of landscape maintenance on the firepits would be welcome.

Site 31 was excellent! Close to restroom, but not too close. On the end of the row, with two picnic tables and two trees perfect for a hammock. The campground was quiet, yet close to a tram stop, so we were able to get to Curry Village quickly for showers and take the tram to the Ahwahnee for dinner. Very nice when you are tired from hiking and enjoying Yosemite's scenery! Bears did come through, but the rangers were on it and gently herded them along with sound and lights. We will definitely try for this spot again!

Camping in the Lower Pines Campground was amazing! Gorgeous views of Half Dome and right next to the Village where they have plenty of hot food to grab. It will be a dream to be back!

A very nice spot with a view of the waterfall. The campground is located down in the valley of Yosemite NP which is beautiful.
The spot was big enough to fit our backpacking tent, but no big tents or you should use the RV pad

No bad place to camp in Yosemite but this was adjacent to many great trails and the river which was nice. Please be very mindful to put all food, toiletries, and coolers in bear box before leaving camp (day or night).
