Campsites have a little more space than other campsites in the valley. Also feels quieter and more tucked in the woods, which makes for a better experience overall.

I felt terrible but somehow I booked an ADA accessible site. May be I did this on my phone and didn't see that, but I severely apologize. The site location was excellent and the volunteers were great. I loved seeing the climbers' lights at night from my campsite. Bathrooms were flushing and very clean, but no soap so bring your own.

View is incomparable, how can you beat waking up to the sun rise over Half Dome? Restroom was well-stocked and lit, campsites were far enough apart to afford a little privacy. We really love how many families and kids come to this site- it was so neat seeing all of the families biking around! We will definitely bring our bikes next time.

If you like people cutting through your site, this is the site for you! Even though site 28 was empty during our three night stay people still cut through site 27 to get to/from Curry Village. I really wish the NPS would make designated paths. Other than that, the site was great, but we won’t stay in site 27 again. Our 28’ trailer and tow vehicle fit fine. We were worried we wouldn’t fit based on the photos but the right side of the parking pad can fit a longer trailer than ours. Note that in early October we got very little sun on our solar panels due to the trees and proximity to the valley wall to the south (6 amp hours max all day), so you may need a generator if camping with a trailer.

Lower Pines is the closest to Curry Village, with some campsites having views of Half Dome & beautiful views of the river. My spot was closer to the road to Curry Village, but still felt private enough. Loved it and would definitely go back!

Large campsite right by the river with a view of Half Dome. This site specifically sits right next to the entrance to the campground for both cars and pedestrians, so there can be a bit of activity as people go in and out throughout the night. Walkers often wandered into the campsite itself because the walking path isn't well-marked.
