Great spot. Close to bathrooms. The parking spots can pool water so they can get very muddy.

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the facility of the shuttles during our stay. The directions to and in the park were perfect!
We only missed warm water at the camping restroom.

The park was wonderful as usual but the usual crowds.
Not fond of the new traffic circulation plan.
All vehicles headed for the campgrounds have to drive through the congestion at Curry Village.
The campsite was great, white noise from the river and great views.
Only downside was nature encroaching on the parking pad.
Brambles had grown three feet into the pad on one side and soil erosion had washed several feet into the other side and rear of the pad.
Beware if you have a larger unit.
Got our 22 foot trailer in OK but it should have been much easier.

We had a wonderful stay in Lower Pines. Convenient and comfortable with the beautiful amd dramatic granite peaks and cliffs all around. Got around easily by shuttle and on foot. Not overcrowded thanks to the reservation system. Can't wait to go back.

This campsite has a wonderful view of Half Dome and one of the creeks that flows into the Merced river. The neighbors were very respectful as well. The only thing to know is that the bathroom lights from the men's room were very bright at this spot. We angled my Ford in a good direction in the driving area to block it. But then the lights went out later in the night -- it turns out they were motion sensitive. If you want a darker campsite, I would suggest a little farther away from the bathroom.
