Great campsite in a beautiful and convenient spot in Yosemite Valley. We brought our bikes and kept our campervan parked while we bike and hiked the Valley. Mirror Lake is an easy walk from the campground along with Happy Isles. The staff was super friendly. The restrooms were clean, but, no soap so bring your own.

Site 26 is convenient to the restroom, lots of space for tents. The parking space is tiny, barely room for 2 cars.

Lower pines campground is beautiful and was quiet during my stay, 9/28/23. My campground, #43, was large and near the river.

Nice big campsite right behind the restrooms. The camp host and ranger at check in were very welcoming and answered all out questions. Only cons is that site is not well marked and not sure where the tent went, and because it was so close to the restrooms, we could hear all the flushes and the lights would light up the whole tent.

Lower Pine Campsite is in a good position in the parks. Rangers were helpful and friendly providing good advice. The pitch was of a good size and shaded. Toilets and washing facilities were basic with wash basins very dirty. Site was noisy at times with large group of teenagers using auditorium and some parties.

We loved our stay at Lower Pines! The area was clean, beautiful, and had very little foot traffic from park visitors. We enjoyed easy access to the Merced River. The bathrooms were the nicest ones I’ve ever seen at a campsite—flush toilets and sinks with mirrors! There was also a convenient water filling station. Would 100% return if lucky enough to snag a spot!

Yosemite did it disappoint. This site is located along the Merced river super convenient location which is close to various trails as well as carry village. I would totally come back. Viva Yosemite.

This was a great campsite and beautiful campground. I felt so fortunate to snag a last minute reservation here. I was so happy when I arrived and my site was next to the water as well. The trees are towering and the sky is visible. You are surrounded by the granite cliffs in the valley. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect spot. The free Yosemite bus comes right to the camper ground as well.
