This campground is in a perfect location. You can reach all the attractions easily and quickly. The shuttle stops are nearby, making it very convenient to get around the national park.
However, the campground facilities are a bit outdated. The bathrooms are quite old, and the trash bins are located at the entrance of each loop rather than near the bathrooms. On the positive side, there are some good features as well: grey water from dishwashing can be disposed of properly, and the water-filling stations are excellent.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay, and everyone was respectful of the campground rules, including quiet hours.

I received an alert on May 4th that my requested date, August 4th, was available. I clicked the alert and quickly booked that date, but instead, I received a reservation for May 4, the day the alert was sent. So disappointed.

Right by a small creek, was very nice. A little walk from the bathroom though.

It’s Yosemite. It’s amazing. Going in the winter is awesome too, less crowds, bugs, and noise.

The campsite was beautiful. Plenty of space for the large 6 person tent + mud room as well as the 4 person tent that we brought. Penty of space for a large Tahoe + Tesla Y to park. Picnic table is slanted, but you can easily move it to a couple different spots for a more leveled surface. We didn't mind the slant. Combo of shade + sun made for the most perfect family weekend. The creek is right nearby so we ended up letting the kids play in water which was so much fun. Big trees that made it easy to hang hammocks for lounging.
