The campsite was beautiful. Plenty of space for the large 6 person tent + mud room as well as the 4 person tent that we brought. Penty of space for a large Tahoe + Tesla Y to park. Picnic table is slanted, but you can easily move it to a couple different spots for a more leveled surface. We didn't mind the slant. Combo of shade + sun made for the most perfect family weekend. The creek is right nearby so we ended up letting the kids play in water which was so much fun. Big trees that made it easy to hang hammocks for lounging.

I visit Yosemite annually. It seems like the mosquitos and spittlebugs in the valley are lot more prevalent this year! why? can the park do something to stop them from getting worse?

Had a wonderful time. The campgrounds have new generator rules for 2 hour meal times. Very peaceful. Was out hiking early & back late. It was cold, some snow, hail & rain in the afternoon but overall excellent.

This national park is world renowned for a good reason. You can research what to see on many great YouTube videos. Here are a few helpful tips that are not in the videos. Degnan’s Kitchen Deli in Yosemite Village offers very generously their Wi-Fi if you need to check your emails now and then. Please be kind and also give them some of your business. If you hike to Vernal Falls make sure to hike at least a little ways past the bridge. Also, at the bridge, amazingly, there is water that you can fill your water bottle and there is a bathroom with flush toilets. You need Reservations to eat at the Mountain room Restaurant at Yosemite LODGE. There are no gas stations in the valley, but there are EV charging stations that are very slow. Try to plan to charge your EV and walk to eat or shop at Curry Village. There is a post office in Yosemite Village and it is fun to mail a postcard that you will receive with a postmark from Yosemite. There was a huge difference in the flow of water in the spring compared to so much less water at the end of August. Bring one of those plastic cube collapsible water containers to fill and have it your campsite if you are camping in a tent because there are no water spigots throughout the campgrounds only at the bathrooms. The eggs for breakfast in Curry Village Cafeteria are delicious, but the potatoes are horrible. There is a big life-size stuffed bear in the curry Village cafeteria, which is a great photo op specially with children. . . and adults young at heart. Biggest suggestion of all is don’t forget to put sunscreen on your bald spot, top of your ears, and back of your neck. Enjoy!

It was great to have a campsite in the valley. Bring soap to the restrooms as there is none to wash hands.

I would like to say that the free bus services on the Yosemite Valley floor are excellent!

The campground was full of RVs right next to tents, and the top spot at the loop had over 15 tents on one site (without park intervention until the next morning). Total congestion, noise, and trash. For April, particularly, this was brutal. And, it hailed.
