Compact spot with space for 1 car. Close to the bathrooms which were clean (but don't provide soap). We were able to fit 2 medium tents without a problem, as there were several flat spots. Like most sites, it is more cramped and you will be close to your neighbors. Nice location in the valley with proximity to the Merced and the mist trailhead.

Site#15 well leveled for camper van. Originally booked for 2 nights but first night was canceled due to campground closure after heavy snow. Relatively spacious site. Loved the stay.

Consistently a great experience even with the holiday crowds and traffic.

I drove all the way to Yosemite, 4 hours one way, only to find they were closing the campgrounds and I had to turn around the next morning and leave, Recreation.gov sent an email telling me, but who gets email alerts while driving? Sending a text alert would have saved me 7 hours of driving!

The campground itself is amazing, really close to Yosemite Valley as well as popular hikes nearby. We stayed at multiple sites during our trip. The downside to this spot is it’s so close to other campsites you feel like you’re all on top of each other. There’s not much space between your campsite and every other campsite around it, it’s very narrow and it was difficult to know what was ours and what was our neighbors area when setting up our tents. Also, people constantly walked through our site to get to the bathrooms which was annoying to say the least especially if you’re tent camping. There’s little to no privacy at this site, but at the other site we stayed at we had so much space and privacy. I wouldn’t stay at this site again, but I would recommend the campground itself.

Accessibility to water and dumping station was convenient. A lot of public restrooms was nice.
