Great spot to camp and enjoy Yosemite. The camp is close to the entrance of the mist trail to Nevada falls, and Curry Village for quick shopping 🛒.

The camping sites were too close to each other. There’s no shower at the site. But it is close to Curry Village and mist trail.

why don't you have more campgrounds open in winter? it is quite difficult to get a reservation and puts everyone on top of each other. it restricts access to the park which should NOT be your goal

The staff was incredible, giving us so many suggestions for hikes. We ended up doing Rubicon which was roughly 14 miles along the edge of the lake. It was lengthy, but had very little elevation change, so not too difficult. Campsite and bathrooms were very clean. Would stay here again!

Site was on the end cap of the row so there was lots of in and out traffic on the road next to it. Never a bad campsite, just some better than others.

the site was fine, however it should be clear to people coming up that if there's recently been a snow melt, the site could be muddy where a tent my get erected

For being a “FULL” campground it was very sad to see 20% available sites. We walked the campground both in the evening and morning and many of the sites were still unoccupied. When it’s so difficult to get a site, it was disappointing. The facilities are outdated and an embarrassment to our country.
We have travelled to many parks. Sorry to be so negative, but our National Parks need work.

The noon check-in time gives you time to spend in the part during the first afternoon, which is very nice. Conveniently located to both the Happy Isles and Mirror Lake trailheads. Check-in was quick and efficient.
