The most magical campsite! Being surrounded by the trees, looking up at the mountains; just the best. People were respectful, the volunteer who checked us in was so nice, and bathrooms were clean. What else can you ask for. Can’t wait to book again!

Great campground! Be advised: there is no soap in the bathrooms, which is disappointing. But the scenery is amazing and the bear lockers are plenty of space for storing your cooler and other items. We also appreciated the potable water and helpful staff when checking in

The site was so unlevel for a 24’ motorhome. Asphalt was deteriorated and was a hazard for kids

It was great. You can walk to the vernal fall trail from the campsite.

This particular campsite is spacious. Didn't feel cramp at all with other sites. We have easy access to the main road going into Curry camp for the shower. Only down side is people would walk through our camp to get to the main road.
Camp host is very nice and considerately. Toilet could be a bit cleaner. Trash bins are located at the fork so it was a bit of a walk. Considered this is the first time we camped in Yosemite. It was an awesome experience.

Site 5 is perfect for a vehicle and a tent. We loved the site. One might think being near the front is bad, but it was nothing but perfect. Quiet, no one behind us. Far enough from road. Bathroom is not close by. When booking in Yosemite, you take what you can get and there's really no bad location.

Cozy campground nestled between Half Dome & Glacier Point — who could ask for more?! Site 40 is very near the bathroom, but it still managed to quiet down overnight. One neighbor ran their generator during every generator time, but we learned to pack up early and head to El Cap meadow for coffee and breakfast, just a short drive away. It’s also walking distance from Vernal Falls trailhead, which was so fantastic.

We had a great site (009), which is near the entrance and on the outside of a loop. You should definitely try for the latter, since that gives you quite a bit more space and privacy. Our site was well-maintained with a nice blend of sun and shade. If you're coming at the beginning of spring, as we did, the various falls in the valley -- Yosemite, Bridalveil, and Horsetail -- should all be flowing well and are worth hiking to, as is Mirror Lake. These all, even the first, will not be jammed the way the Mist and JMT trails often are.

The bathrooms were a bit rough and were showing their age. Some of the toilets were difficult to flush. The NPS uses the world's thinnest toilet paper; it tears easily and there were many shreds of toilet paper in the bathrooms. It looked sloppy.
