Great campground! The camp host was so kind and helpful. We stayed in site #237 which was big enough for two cars and close to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were super clean and the campground was surprisingly quiet over the weekend. Can’t wait to come back in July.

Excellent stay. Volunteers were nice. Good limitations for fire and generators. Liked the hand dryers in the bathrooms.

Breathtaking beauty. Campground was clean and well maintained. Rangers routinely walking the roads and stopped by our campsite to show us a bear that was walking the perimeter of the campground. They were keeping an eye on the bear to make sure it didn't enter the actual campsites. The staff was very friendly and worked hard to help the public enjoy the experience while keeping us safe at the same time. Would go back anytime!!!

We were blessed on being able to secure campgrounds in all 3 Pine Campgrounds in May, peak waterfall season. This one was our least favorite. I think if we got river access, we would have a better experience. We didn’t get any views. All in all, still happy we got to stay within the valley and it was still a great campsite.

Upper Pines is situated in the east end of the Valley, providing easy access to Vernal Falls, Mirror Lake and Curry Village. It is mostly forested, and the site sizes are decent. The bathrooms are clean, and the park staff and volunteers are helpful. Cell service is nearly non-existent (we have AT&T), so we had to go to Yosemite Village area to get any service.

Mark and Emmy (volunteers at the kiosk) were friendly and very helpful.
They got us situated and oriented in order to get the most from our visit.

Only issue was generator noise outside the allowed times. Really kills the vibe.
