Great campground! Nice location, space, close walking to everything in the valley. Only downside is no soap in the bathrooms.

The campsite was nice, needed better support from understaffed Yosemite resources.

It’s a great campground, there’s bathrooms around the campsite. It’s located in a great location so you can plan your trip on the entire Valley very easily. Recommended.

Difficult to find reservation. But I was able to find a one nighter in short notice. Camp site was clean. Wished the parking spot was better paved and more level as I was car camping opposite to tent camping. I use a CPAP so the EV car supplied the electricity. Sleeping slightly off angle was a bit uncomfortable. Bathroom was clean. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Price was reasonable.

The check-in and check-out experience was terrible here. I arrived at 6 PM to find out the camp office is only open from 10 AM to 4 PM, though this was not shared in advance. Upon arrival, several signs and a clipboard insisted that campers needed to sign in on arrival and then return to the kiosk to check in after 10 AM the next morning or risk being marked a no-show. I changed my schedule the next day in order to be able to go back to the kiosk after 10 AM, but when I did, they said I didn’t need to check in after all, because they were already working on the next night’s check-ins. What a mess. Campsites are pretty tightly spaced. This site is at least on the edge of the campground with some trees on the back side, though there is no privacy from neighbors and it is a couple minutes’ walk from the nearest washroom. Pretty much the typical crowded experience of staying in Yosemite Valley.
