We were near the entrance and right by trash and recycling bins. The noise of people depositing trash and recycling was noticeable until surprisingly late in the evening, 10 pm. The sites further away from the entrance would have been a better choice. The park is beautiful, pick a spot, you can't go wrong.

Overall, we had a great stay. We didn't have any issues with neighbors. Bathrooms were clean and went into curry village for showers.

Yosemite is amazing and the camp sites are great, although one major negative is the constant generators running throughout the day at all hours at the camp grounds.. Especially hours like 7-9? 5-7? kinda wild.
If you can't fly a drone in the park you should not be able to run a generator.
Thanks,

This was my first time staying in Yosemite, and I absolutely enjoyed it. There are lots of big trees around the campgrounds and the amenities are well maintained.
