What Guests Are Saying
Lakeview Gunnison offers stunning views and excellent fishing opportunities, making it a popular choice for campers. Many reviews highlight the cleanliness of the campsites and restrooms, as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the camp hosts. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the condition of the roads and water access, as well as overcrowding from dispersed camping and larger RVs, which may detract from the overall experience.

First experience camping for many years when camped at Boy Scout camps in TX. That said, we found this campsite to be beautiful with nice services for toilets, trash, and water. Views from Site 11 of the Sawatch range and Taylor Reservoir were outstanding. However, 11 was a little sparse for trees. A little noisy at times when other campers were driving their ATV’s through the camp to get to their destination. But did not hear any noise after 10 pm. Would definitely go again.

We have been going to Lakeview and Taylor Lake for 15 years.Your decision To let four wheeler's and motorcycles run rampant all over the park Was Stupid. Prior to that Lake view was the only Place to camp Around Taylor LakeThat was without The four wheeler's.
In addition the campsite adjacent to it Had 4 vehicles And 22 people Camping on that site.It was noisy and absurd. We were inside 2.
The Camo host was a buffoon And would do nothing about the noise And Rucus. Wouldn't even come out of her camper most of the time. always had a sign Up "Off Duty"
We will never be back.
