What Guests Are Saying
Lakeview Gunnison offers stunning views and excellent fishing opportunities, making it a popular choice for campers. Many reviews highlight the cleanliness of the campsites and restrooms, as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the camp hosts. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the condition of the roads and water access, as well as overcrowding from dispersed camping and larger RVs, which may detract from the overall experience.

Site 6 was OK. Very narrow space for our travel trailer but it was level. The picnic table. was too far away along with the place for our canopy. Besides the level place for our trailer the res of the area to level nd unusable for chairs or tables. Otherwise the campground and scenery was beautiful.

This is the most beautiful campground with views of the lake and mountains, plenty of room to social distance.

Lakeside Gunnison is one of our favorite campgrounds. Lots of trees. Quiet. Close to fishing the fabulous Taylor Lake.

We had a really wonderful time for my partners Birthday weekend. The camp hosts were really accommodating and friendly. It was perfect being right across the street from the water/boat rental. We just walked down with our stuff to rent a pontoon for the day and had an absolute blast. It was the perfect time of year to catch all the wildflowers in bloom- they were stunning. We will definitely be back again this summer. Can't wait!
