Lakeview Campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with helpful and friendly hosts, clean facilities, and great access to outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites and scenic views, making it a favorite camping spot. However, some concerns were raised about road conditions and noise from generators, which detracted from the overall experience for a few guests.

I reserved (and paid for) a Tuesday through Sunday reservation. I showed up early Friday am to check into my spot (#2; which I had reserved for the 5 days to ensure I would have the spot for the weekend) only to find that the spot had been rented to another camp group since I "no showed" on the Tuesday..... Was offered another campsite (not wanted). Host stated I should have contacted the site to inform of my late arrival (but no information available about this on website or a number to contact)...... I PAID FOR THE SITE FOR THE WEEK AND DIDN'T CANCEL IT.... I WAS ENTITLED TO T SITE.... host should have informed others staying in the site that IF I showed up, they would need to vacate... not done..... Was given a name and number of supervisor to call if I had a grievance..... YES I HAVE A GRIEVANCE.... I PAID THE FULL AMOUNT FOR MY SITE FOR THE ENTIRE TIME (whether I was their for 5 days or 1 day.....). I suppose luckily there was one site left (and I took it; not willing to drive back home)..... This was double dipping by the campsite (taking my money and renting out my space as well)... Beware

Was only able to book one night, but absolutely loved our spot and the campground. Will definitely do it again!

First experience camping for many years when camped at Boy Scout camps in TX. That said, we found this campsite to be beautiful with nice services for toilets, trash, and water. Views from Site 11 of the Sawatch range and Taylor Reservoir were outstanding. However, 11 was a little sparse for trees. A little noisy at times when other campers were driving their ATV’s through the camp to get to their destination. But did not hear any noise after 10 pm. Would definitely go again.
