What Guests Are Saying
Aspen Glade Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and well-maintained facilities, with friendly and helpful camp hosts, particularly Michael, Bill, and Deb. Guests enjoyed the serene atmosphere, proximity to the Conejos River, and opportunities for hiking and exploring. While some sites were less favorable and there were occasional issues with restroom cleanliness and cell service, the overall experience is positive, making it a favored destination for many campers.

Very nice campground. Short road into campground from highway, fortunately as it's fairly rough.
Stayed in upper area. Had nearly every night individuals pull in late and leave early without paying.

The camping area by the river was beautifully designed so that each site enjoyed the huge pine trees and bushes around them. The sound of the river filled the air and the smell of pine was lovely. Very well kept with bathrooms for those not bringing their own and potable water. No electric service or cell service. The disconnect from the outside world was wonderful.

Great place, book sites down next to river. Camp host was great. Latrines clean. Great hiking trails and lake nearby.

The lower loop (sites 20+) are much prettier than the top loop. Site 8 on the top is large enough for 2 tents/2 vehicles - plus it has a trail straight down to the river. The site does not have shade. This is a lovely campground on a gorgeous river. The river has places you can wade through to islands for great fishing, short rapids for easy tubing, and slow deep sections for swimming (some kids were jumping off rocks into a deep pool).

I've enjoyed camping here the last two years. Site 8 is within earshot of the river but is open enough for the wind to discourage the mosquitoes. I saw others have reported mosquitoes as an issue but we did not have problems.
