Good campsite in a wooded area. Metal fire ring is rusted out and falling apart and badly in need of replacement. Early gunshots in the National Forest detracted from the quiet one morning.

Secluded campground. Neighbors but not close enough to really hear. Pretty peaceful. Loved it. Planning on going back this year!

This is a nice campground, but $22/night is pretty steep for a campground with no water. They had water the first time we stayed there, but it has since been shut down. This campground is surrounded by designated dispersed camping, which is completely free, so essentially you are paying $22 for a vault toilet. I will probably stay here again if they fix the potable water, but until then it's not worth the price.

{"text"=>"Great little campground in the pine trees. There are vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and dumpsters. No water or dumping facilities. This area gets busy on the weekends. It's best to reserve sites on recreation.gov if you plan on coming on a weekend. The campground opens as first come, first serve around mid-May and then for reservations in late May. I'm not sure of the closing dates. Close to a creek across the road. There are tons of hiking and mountain biking trails nearby. This campground is very popular for mountain bikers. The Colorado Trail is not far to the east on Forest Service Road 550.", "languageCode"=>"en"}
