The campground was well maintained and the outhouses were very clean. The campground hostess was nice and friendly. It’s right on a nice stretch of river with some good fishing and the scenery is good. There is no shade except for a couple shelters. The bad thing is that there are train tracks across the river and the trains blow their whistles at a crossing right there. There were at least two or three trains every night.

The site was nice, but it lacked any trees or shelter at the campsites. The sites could be spread out a bit further. Otherwise, the site met my needs.

The camp host was very helpful and chatted with us about everything we needed to know. The bathrooms on the river side are great--pit toilets were clean and maintained! We camped in the handicap-accessible spot and it was quite overgrown. Perhaps some brush-cutting is needed? There would be no place to put a tent because the willows are growing out of the pad.

We love this spot and have been coming here for years, either to fish, camp, or both. The camp host has always been friendly and helpful. We’ll continue to come back.

Nice place, but unfortunately, we had a terrible experience because of the dogs at the ranch on the other side of the river. They barked all night, and whenever they finally became quiet, a train would pass and set them off all over again. We all slept very poorly. It was a shame because the place itself is really nice.

Kelly the camp host was awesome. She was there when we checked in and also came by to touch base a few times. She couldn't have been friendlier! We really appreciate her service.
