We had a great time! Everything went as planned. However, we did watch the campers at the site next to us wash their dishes in the Crystal River. That was quite disturbing to us. They also bathed in the river.

Love love the Clean bathrooms. Absolutely love our yearly camping trip here. The only thing that is frustrating is the campers that leave outside lights and generators on all night long. Changes the ambiance of the camping experience. It’s a pretty rustic place to camp so without those things the sound of the river is absolutely tranquil.

My husband and I love Bogan Flats Campground and try to come every year for a few days. We live in Hotchkiss, CO which is just one hour and 15 min. away, so it's perfect when we need a quick getaway for a couple of days. My husband spends his time fly fishing in the river that runs through the campground and we take short walks nearby. I mostly come to relax and read by the river and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We always go to Marble to check out the sculptures and eat at Slow Groovin' BBQ.

Clear, relatively private for a campground spots right along Crystal River. We had peace and quiet during the week in the middle of summer. Close to the Crystal Mill hike which was our destination. Great firepit and bear box. Only complaint was that the only place to pitch a tent was on the gravel driveway which is fairly typical for such a CG but just an FYI. Cg hosts has firewood if you needed it. Bathrooms clean. We loved our view and stay!
