This place is great. We went late season so there weren’t many ppl there and felt pretty private with all the trees. Also we got a spot right on Frying Pan river and the sound of the river was great for sleeping. We got to see a moose and also a deer with 2 fawn. The hosts were very helpful. They let us know about the different things we could see around to make sure we didn’t miss anything.

The only comment I would have is some camp sites could be made more level. Stayed in # 80 earlier this year
and it was a challenge to back into or level for a trailer. # 77 has level issues also but easy to back into.
Chapman is a great campground and had nice hosts and clean restrooms
