Beautiful location, nice campsites that were clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. And the camp hosts were friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed our 5 day stay.

When I arrived the part of the campground that I had a reservation for closed the day before. so we had to take a space that was pretty close to the other camp spots. When we arrived the camp host had no record of my two night reservations, great. I had only a one night confirmation letter and my wife was driving to the campground later after work and she had the second night conformation. I was made to purchase the second night at that time which I had already paid for. The next morning I showed the host the second day confirmation letter and he said that he could not give me a refund. He directed me to the camp host on the closed side of the camp ground and they were no where to be found. We love Chapman camp ground and been going there for over 35 years. The camp ground host was not helpful at all and the online reservations did not send the information to the host.

We loved the spot near the water and open field. Felt like we had privacy and space. Bathroom close by too. Only thing was how far it was from a town if u need anything. Besides that would recommend to anyone!
