We had a great spot next to the river, and several good hikes nearby, loved being close to the reservoir for boating and paddleboarding too.

We love going to Chapman. It's become an annual pilgrimage before the kids go back to school. We SUP, fish, and swim. Great memories.

The location is beautiful and the small reservoir is fun to paddle board on -great hiking close by however the camp host was rude & angry which soured the experience.

Everything was great except the water quality. It was brown and undrinkable. We saw the septic pumping truck hook up to the water system without a backflow preventer. (Husband worked with a sanitation and water district in Colorado and know rules and regs.) Otherwise all clean and beautiful. Nice people.

Close to home but true wilderness experience. Incredible hiking without the crowds. Special place!

We love going to Chapman. Itβs just up the road from where we live yet feel like we are miles away from it all. The campground is clean and most every spot is desirable. Thanks to all for doing a great job.

We love it but it's not for everyone. No hookups, water is available to fill your RV or containers, nice pit toilets. Friendly helpful staff.
