My last visit was 15 years ago so i was looking forward to return . It did not disappoint . Still a beautiful setting . The one negative was the traffic noise on Hy 133 which has definitely increased since i last visited . Don't expect to sleep late if your tent camping .

Quiet camp ground close to a cute town. We were in a double site 18/19 and road noise was not an issue (September weekend).

This is the best campground I have ever camped in. Bathrooms were super clean. Todd, the camp host, was amazing and so helpful. It was peaceful, beautiful, with lots of privacy. Our group had the best time.
From another camper with my group:
Amazing campground. Bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen at a campground and Todd was an awesome camp host. The scenery is stunning, the drive into Carbondale is amazing, and the campsites are quite private and wooded. Redstone, a town of 92, is an easy 1mi walk from the campground and is so cool. Dogs got to play in the river near the campsite and had a blast. We also saw some bears (they didn't both us; we didn't bother them) in the campground! This might be my new favorite campsite!
