We accidentally had reserved a double site, thus paying more than we normally would have needed to as seniors with a National Parks Pass. However, the site was very nice and met our needs well with much privacy and greenery around, and near one of the restrooms, and the hookups for water and electricity for our trailer worked perfectly. The Redstone Campground is laid out well and was kept very clean. It was fun to be able to either walk or bike the mile down the road to little Redstone. The only suggestion we can think of for improvement is not in the campground itself but on the Recreation.Gov online site to provide a more detailed map of how the campsites are laid out. We will recommend the campground to others.

Always a pleasure to stay at this campground. We stayed in the Mech loop, which doesn’t have hook ups but there are water hydrants available to fill up your RV tank. Bathrooms were super clean. Shower facilities are functional again (were closed during covid), and very well-maintained. Our campsites were 27 and 32, which are awesome for two families as they are each private but linked by a small trail. 27 also backs up to the trail that goes all the way to the town of Redstone.
