The noise from the nearby highway was distracting. The showers were very much appreciated but only 1 of the 2 showers at our end of the campground were working. The shower/bathroom building makes some kind of motor or pump noise that goes on 24/7. The campground was VERY clean, and the host was very friendly. We did not realize (our fault) that the campground was at the same elevation as where we live and so the daytime temps were hot, in the mid 80s, and the humidity was high. Fishing in the Crystal River was enjoyable despite the fact that swimmers took over all of the deep pools.

Nice campground along the Crystal River. The swimming hole is right across from the campground entrance.

Generators, and more generators. My neighbors had multiple loud generators that ran from 9:00 am to well after 10:00 pm every day. No host available to talk to, only off duty signs. Quiet hours were not enforced. It is a really long walk to the other loops at 10:30 pm.
The campground was nice, and clean but what is the point of a host if all they do is check bathrooms once a day and update site post tags.
I have stayed here in the past it was much better so it may have just been bad luck or maybe the new management company. Hard to tell.
