Great place to relaxes. The town of Redstone is only 1 mile away with a small grocery store and lots of gift shops. Make sure you see the Castle. Reservations are needed. The campground has both electric and nonelectric sites. All nonelectric sites are large with trees all around. Camp hosts we great and seemed they really wanted you to enjoy there campground.

This is a beautifully scenic campground and can’t wait to come back for another stay. Waking up to the red stone cliffs in both directions was incredible. We visited many awesome sites in close proximity such as Maroon Bells, Black Canyon, Marble, Independence Pass, Crested Butte to name a few. Very close to shopping and grocery stores in the cute town of Carbondale. The campground host was very nice and helpful throughout the stay. A must visit.

Every once and a while you meet someone who goes above and beyond and the campground hosts did exactly that. When we arrived half of the campground where we had a reservation was closed for the season. It turned out the reservation.gov website made a mistake and a bunch of people ourselves included showed up with valid reservations but to a closed campground. It was late and cold and it was miles to any other options. Without much hope but driven by need, we drove through the half of the campground that was still open and imagine our delight when we saw our name on a site reservation. The host (I really wish I remembered her name) realized there was a big screw up and took it upon herself to fix the problem for us and all the other campers too. She found a way to make it all work and saved a bunch of people from a bad experience. Well done!!!

Very nice campground in a beautiful area. Lots of outdoor activities nearby. Clean facilities, nice heated bathrooms with showers available. One of our favorites.

It's mainly and RV site with gravel camping areas. We were tenting, hiking, and did some backpacking while in the surrounding areas. So, we came and went several times. We met the caretakers and the alternate caretakers too. They all were good smooth operation.
The main attraction for our group was access to showers. Otherwise we'd have gone to just the tenting area. The showers worked well and the water was hot. So A+.
- We had no trouble setting up our tents. I did bring some heavier tent stakes just in case because of the gravel.
- Grounds are well kept. The other people camping there were quiet. The bear lockers were good and large. And there were bear proof dumpsters too.
I'd recommend the site to friends.

The campground hosts were very attentive and helpful! The Redstone Art Foundation Annual Labor Day Art Show was impressive, as well as the beautifully maintained town of Redstone.

Take I-70 west of Denver to exit 116 (Highway 82 East Glenwood Springs/Aspen). Follow 82 E for about 12 miles, then turn right onto Highway 133 south. Drive about 15 miles, then turn left at north entrance to the town of Redstone, CO.
Campground is on left.
Redstone is accessible via I-70 to Highway 82, which is approximately 12 miles from Glenwood Springs, followed by Highway 133 south for about 15 miles.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
