Was totally surprised of the open spaces still available on the Memorial Day weekend. There was a fire ban which was sad but understandable. The hosts were great. We had a wonderful time.

Camped here for 3 days in July. Welcoming kind hosts who gave us great suggestions for sites nearby! As a first-time Colorado experience, we had a great time. I'd probably camp somewhere further up in the mountains next time, but this particular campground was a great experience too. Each site is spacious and the camp restroom actually wasn't full of bugs or bad smells, which is rare. 10/10. (Cell service was predictably spotty but I still had enough signal to stream my Spotify mostly without interruption. However, my campmate did not so don't expect much.)

Shaded, flat, well-maintained campground. Nice, friendly hosts and when we were there, it was soooo blissfully quiet. Planning our next trip already.

The campground is nice and facility is well maintained. Quite a bit of highway noise. If you like to camp with peace and quiet then avoid weekends here. It’s like a Saturday family picnic with dogs barking and babies crying at all hours.

I love this campground. Lots of trees and within walking distance of Manateau Lake for fishing.
