This campground is meant more for tenters, so you need to be real careful that your camper equipment will fit in the spot. Luckily there are some good ‘open’ FCFS spots that will fit longer units. The campground is awesome otherwise. Have camped here a couple of times now.

Great area, overall! Our site (#60) was right on the road as your drive in the campground and while it's considered a "pull-through," it's more of a "pull up and park on the side of the road" site. Once situated, the space is nice. The toilets walking distance to the site were pretty stinky - very different from the vault toilets a short walking distance away. The hosts were fantastic. Also, the reservation at the campground includes entrance to Manitou Lake a quick 5 minutes up the road AND the larger Rampart Range Reservoir which is 14 miles away. It was a quick, easy drive from Denver. We will absolutely return.
