We have been camping at South Meadows for 15 years. The camp sites are awesome and we love the environment, but this time around I didn't feel that the onsite people were available. When we arrived they were "off duty." When the port-a-potty was out of toilet paper for the women, I walked to their office and they were "off duty." Each time I tried they were "off duty." As a result, there was no toilet paper in that bathroom for 2 days. Very disappointing for South Meadows.

Nice campground. Be aware there is shooting range nearby that was very active while we were there. You can hear the shooting all day. Most sites are fairly level. No hookups but pit toilets were clean. Water was available in campground. RV dump is in woodland Park, cost $20.

Turn right (north) on Hwy 67 and travel approximately 5.5 mi to South Meadows Campground. The campground is on the left side of the road.

The campground can be accessed via Highway 24, approximately 18 miles from the I-25 interchange in Colorado Springs. From Highway 24, turn onto Highway 67 for an additional 5.5 miles to reach South Meadows Campground.
