Fire pit was not cleaned out before I arrived, bathrooms were always dirty, camp host was unfriendly and never welcomed us or even waved. I will probably not go back.

Clean restrooms. Large campsites with plenty of room between campers. Friendly chipmunks. Clean restrooms. Downside: close to the road so you can hear road traffic, no showers.

From the I-25 and Hwy 24 intersection in Colorado Springs, Colorado, travel west on Highway 24 for approximately 18 miles to the Hwy 24 and Hwy 67 intersection in Woodland Park. Turn right (north) on Hwy 67 and travel approximately 5.5 miles to South Meadows Campground. The campground is on the left side of the road.
The campground can be accessed via Highway 24, approximately 18 miles from the I-25 interchange in Colorado Springs. From Highway 24, turn onto Highway 67 for an additional 5.5 miles to reach South Meadows Campground.
