Caution: Google Maps cannot find this place unless you download the offline map AND make a route before losing cell reception.
I ended up sleeping on the side of the road since I neglected the above.

Very large capsite. A little road noise, but overall quiet and beautiful. Signs to indicate site numbers would be useful, but not a deal breaker.

These spaces are very large and you don't have other campers right on top of you. Love that. Also, it's just a real quiet campground. And clean. The only thing that I would suggest is that there be signs indicating where the camp sites are. There should be wooden signs with the numbers 1 through 10 for instance. When we were set up,we watched multiple campers just kind of go around and around the park looking. Now, they could have been looking for the first come first serve stuff or they could have been looking for the reserve location. But I think signs would be a good idea. I would also suggest that maybe the park could include in the cost of the campsite, a discounted rate to go to a nearby campground and dump.

The campground can be accessed via Highway 24, approximately 18 miles from the I-25 interchange in Colorado Springs. From Highway 24, turn onto Highway 67 for an additional 5.5 miles to reach South Meadows Campground.
