Wonderful campsite right outside of Durango! It felt secluded while in a convenient enough proximity to the town if you forgot to pack anything. The site host was so helpful. Highly recommend!

Junction Creek CG was amazing! The campsites were well spaced for privacy. The wooded site, hilly terrain, wildlife and stars made for an incredible 5 days. The campsite was clean, had a grate on the firepit for cooking and a four ft. hook to keep equipment/supplies off the ground. We made day trips to Silverton, Ouray, Mesa Verde, Pagosa Springs and Durango during our stay. Bathroom vaults were very clean, but wish it had showers and a place to wash dishes. Camp hosts were awesome and extremely helpful. We are definitely coming back!

We could only stay overnight. We noticed the campsite was very well kept. Its location close to Durango made accessibility to downtown events available.

Excellent back in site, nicely wooded with privacy. Camped with small teardrop and had just enough driveway space for that and tow vehicle, which was perfect for us. A few rock stair-steps up to picnic table and fire pit - again, super private! Clean spaces, well kept by hosts, and had spotless vault toilets. Firewood for sale on site (pay station, self-serve). This and site 3 are our favorite sites here so far.
