Beautiful, clean, treed campground with well maintained restrooms (with flush toilets!), lots of space between many of the sites, and easy access to both town and the rest of the Park. This was our second time here and we will return again!

Aspenglen is my favorite campground in RMNP. It is a small campground for smaller RV's and tents. It is just inside the Fall's River entrance. A nice path along the river leads to the visitor center or to Estes Park. There are no hookups for water or electricity, so you need to be self-sufficient. There are flush toilets and water hydrants are available. If you plan to hike, most trails are closer to Morraine or Glacier Basin campgrounds which are also served by the shuttle service. There is one trail that leaves from the campground, but it is heavily trafficked by the nearby stables.

It's a big spot it gets warm due to no trees for shade but over all a great spot.

Wonderful experience! We did have a SNAFU when the online reservation system allowed us to reserve a tent only campsite after indicating that we were towing a 16-ft camper, but the host made accommodations for us and it all worked out well.

Campground and restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful with questions. They explained the rules of the campground and helps with other questions. Located close to Estes Park. Would recommend!

I was road tripping with my friend Linda and she suggested we go here – and it was absolutely worth it! The campground was very nice – next to a stream. Good for car camping. The campground is close to the watering hole where we looked for bighorn sheep several times a day, but didn’t find any. But there were some elk who hung out often where the spur road to the campground met the main road. :)

We camped for two nights, 5/28-5/30/2022. It wasn't a bad experience, but it's a somewhat crowded campground and shows its age. I should have done more research and lowered my expectations. I was thinking (and from the picture) it was in glen of aspens on an alpine meadow, etc., but in our area of the campground (#33) was more of a field of weeds not far from a very busy entrance to the park. We have a 16' trailer and our picnic table was opposite the door and a hike away, closer to our neighbors than us. It was a good base for exploring the rest of the park and avoiding the entrance lines. The restrooms are modern and clean. A small herd of elk wandered through mowing the weeds down, that was memorable, so I shouldn't complain.
