The camp site was beautiful. The bathrooms were clean and there were water spigots nearby. The rangers were also helpful and answered any questions we had.

The 2nd entrance check gate for the Bear Creek Lake and Glacier Basin campground area on Bear Lake Road is too close to the main road (Moraine Ave), causing a left-turn backup onto Moraine Ave all the way back to the main park entrance gate.
Firewood is available in the evening in the campground (3rd party vendor) - but is quite expensive ($11 a bundle or 4 for $40). Showers are not available in the campground or the park. Medical care is not available in the park (must go to urgent care in Estes Park).

A-26 campsite has good big trees surrounding, closer bear locker located in front campsite. Quiet, beautiful.

I had the absolute best stay here! Wonderful campground! The rangers were all super nice, and very knowledgeable. Campground was clean, and the camp hosts were nice. I loved the Sprague Lake loop, and that it’s right by the campground. Great views and nature as well. :) I will definitely go back here again.

Group campsite Area: Rocky with tree stumps throughout the campsite. Poor maintenance in both female/male restrooms. Solar power showers bring your own shower bag. Access to five bear boxes and three picnic tables with fire pit. Overall beautiful site.

Pretty campground though some area have shade and some don’t. I would look at the pictures to get a nice space. We wondered how the shuttle would work out and found it comes 1x hour. The main shuttle was just across the road and comes every 10 min so it was easier to just do that.

Awesome site. Very close to bathrooms so you are constantly having people walk by. Dryer was a bit annoying but I mean- we’re in RMNP!

Beautiful site! Close enough to the bathrooms without being right ontop of them.

Our tent site had a HUGE ant hill (5ft across) and the volunteers and rangers were a huge help! They were able to move us to another site and helped answer so many questions! Bathrooms were clean and stocked! Not all sites had bear boxes so that’s definitely something we will look at next time we book.
