Great views of the moraine from the campground. Easy access to the hiker buses so didn't need to move the camper from the site

Lovely park within Rocky Mountain National Park. Camping while surrounded by mountains. It was late June when I was there. Restrooms with plumbing were kept in good shape while I was there. I camped in a 25ft Travel Trailer. Not all sites have enough room for more than a tent so be careful to check if your equipment can pick the spot you select.

This was our first time staying at Glacier Basin and I was very pleased. For me, the best feature was that the campsites are large and not stacked right on top of each other. The restrooms were very clean. Another great feature is that the layout of the campground makes it very easy to let the kids take off on their bikes and I didn't have to worry about them getting turned around. It was nice not needing a timed reservation for the Bear Lake road area since access to that area is included as part of the camping reservation. Finally, I would mention that the Google Earth image (at the time of this posting) is several years old and is not an accurate depiction of the campground in 2024. Loops C and D are not as treeless as the satellite image suggests. The trees planted after the 2009 the removal of trees killed by Bark Beetles are now 8-10 feet tall. Not tall enough for shade but better than no trees at all. I would absolutely stay there again.

Great campground: well-maintained, close to the shuttle, and the rangers are extremely helpful. Though there isn't a shower, there is a shower station where you can use a solar shower bag. Otherwise, there is a public shower place in Estes Park. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Best campground location at RMNP, situated on the Bear Lake Corridor with great access to many excellent hikes and lakes. The campground itself is well maintained and restrooms clean. Firewood is available daily in the late afternoon.

B044 Was a decent campsite. The sites are very close together. The bathroom for this area was decently clean. The fire pit had been cleaned out. It would be helpful if each site had a bear box. That was really the only issue.

We loved this site. Spacious and more privacy than shown in the photos on here. Water access is right in front of you, and you’re very close to (very clean) bathrooms without being too close. And the mountain views blew our minds!
