Moraine park is still closed and not taking reservations yet, so glacier basin will be really crowded. Also, no one communicated that there’s no firewood for sale at all in the park this year, necessitating an extra trip back into town for wood. But beautiful of course because it’s RMNP.

I love this campground, but this particular campsite is not very nice. There's just barely room for a large SUV to pull off the road and people with their rigs get pretty close to your vehicle when they're driving through. Site 68C is the same way. I will say it does have a nice view of the mountains - no trees to block the view. I personally would try not to get this campsite again though.

Beautiful vista, solar showers, clean facilities, what more could you ask for?

This is the most beautiful campground in the park...there are views on three sides of majestic mountain peaks. The road through the campsites is paved, which cuts down on dust when people drive through. Each campsite that we have had over the years has been special in different ways. They do need to work on the bathroom near 89, as the water and lights are not working like the other bathrooms. But...it is early in the season. I am sure they will fix that soon. Loved the time there so much! One great perk is that there is a sweet trail to Sprague Lake and that makes a beautiful and short hike after supper. We try never to miss that!

Beautiful setting, site was good size. I like the built in pad for the tent and being right across the street from park & ride. Bathrooms were clean, quiet at night.

Our staywas so great at Glacier Basin campground. The view from our campsite was spectacular. This campground is right across the road from the bear lake park and ride. The only complaint that we had was that the campground closed and we were not able to stay another day. This campground should have stayed open since camping is limited in the park with the current closure of the larger Moraine campground.

Would have been better if shuttle drivers were not restricted as to where we could be let out. Didn't get too see the Elk rut much as driver would not et us out where the elk were. Would have had to walk over a mile both ways and we had already hiked several miles that day.
