Loved Glacier Basin Campground, it was clean and well cared for and had flushing toilets and plenty of water. I was happy to find out they had solar showers! They even provided firewood and ice at this one.

Campground is in a great location. You can walk to many trailheads from the campground, or walk 0.5 miles to the park and ride. The bathrooms were dirtier than usual this past weekend.
Site B047 is a good campsite. There was enough room to fit a truck & a mid-sized SUV. Some trees in the site.

I had been planning for this trip to RMNP for months, driving from MD for the experience of hiking and camping in the park.
I was not aware of the “timed entry” requirement, thus, was unable to gain entry to Bear Lake Rd for 2 days of my visit.
This was a bit disappointing, but was able for the most part to find alternative hiking trails.
RMNP is a stunning place to visit and take in the scenic views and wildlife.

Great spot and view of the mountains! Has a bear bin on site. Trees have grown a bit so has so seclusion to it.

Great spot, right next to bathrooms and sink - but since there's a lot of bathrooms spread out there wasn't an overwhelming amount of foot traffic (ie. low foot traffic - doesn't feel like everyone is constantly walking by to the bathrooms/sinks). Trees have gotten a bit larger than in the pics which is nice. No bear bin in this site. Kept food in car covered and it was fine. Beautiful of the mountains from this location! Walk to shuttle is only about 15min. There is only 1 car parking spot - which is shared with the campsite next to it (so 2 spots total, one for each).

Great site and view of the mountains. Pretty exposed with little tree coverage, recommend guy-lines for tents if it’s going to be windy. Close to water and bathrooms. Not too close to neighbors. Also no bear box in this site - things were fine in car though.
