The campsite I had was very clean, although you don't get much privacy because it's so close to other sites. However, everyone is usually very friendly and the location is beautiful with mountains around you.

Glacier Basin was a great campground! Abundant bathrooms close to all sites and very clean. Great proximity to Bear Lake. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay! Not a whole lot of shade in the RV spot we had in c loop but the beautiful views made up for it. Beware of the woman selling firewood - she is EXTREMELY grouchy.

Bathrooms are very clean. Campsite is peaceful. Beware: Bring your own firewood or deal with the wrath of the woman who sells it on the campground.

Love being on Bear Lake Road. Totally enjoyed our hike from Bear Lake Trailhead to Haiyaha Lake. Beautiful! The campground was better than I remembered but sites are pretty close together. Bring cash for firewood and ice;)

Site D124 states that it can accommodate up to 21 foot trailer/camper. We had a 16 foot tongue to bumper and it barely fit, with the nose almost touching the road. My only complaint is what could be considered false advertising on what could fit. This site should be labeled as a tent only site or a camper van/car only as the shared driveway isn't much. Restrooms were great and and clean and there is electric in the bathroom. Views were amazing of Long's Peak and other mountains, even had some elk visit in the evenings. All campers were respectful of the quiet hours and camp hosts were nice.

Very pretty views from site though site is in the middle of the field with little shade and quite crowded. Bathroom access was confusing at night, though we eventually figured it out without having to walk through everybody else’s campsites.

Site 95 was great and is right across from the water and bathroom station. You’re next to two neighbor sites with few barriers between sites. One site shares your driveway and the other has the communal bear box. If you’d rather not bother your neighbors you should be good to store food and hygiene products in the car.
The site itself is well graded and has a clearly defined site for a single large tent and has a fire pit and bench.
Depending on the season starting a fire may be difficult if it’s wet out, we were here during some late august thunderstorms but it was beautiful to camp in the rain and we eventually got our fire started.
Cheers!
