The Glacier Basin campground was perfect. Midway up the Bear Lake Road and across the road from the park and ride shuttle. I was able to keep my vehicle at the campground and walk to the shuttles that serviced all the major trailheads. Didn’t have to worry about finding parking at any of the trailheads.

It was a good campsite. Internet worked well, and the restrooms and dishwashing area were nearby and clean. Overall, a good experience.

On the positive, the park has lots of great trails and beautiful nature. The campground sites are extremely close to together, so you won't be more than a few feet away from the campsite next to you. It might have the most sites per foot than any I've ever stayed outside of a KOA. The bathroom was very clean initially. There is also a sink on the outside, but that didn't stop pigs from washing their dishes in the bathroom sink and near the water fill station. You will also have to deal with loud generators, so don't expect hearing much nature.

Spot A32 was amazing right by the forest and protected from view with young trees. It felt very secluded. Super clean bathrooms too.

Beautiful campground - can’t wait to return! Bathrooms were clean, plenty of places to fill up drinking water, super nice volunteers. Amazing views and so convenient to the park & ride shuttle!

The campground is very clean. Elks always come onto the grounds in the evening. The shuttle service they offer is absolutely perfect. When it comes to great trails, the Rockies are hard to beat. We'd love to come back!
