Nice campground with clean restrooms and easy access to hiker shuttle stops. It was a bit noisy -- a lot of families with young kids and pets, and some car alarms going off at random during the night. I think that's fairly typical for front-country campgrounds, but it's why we usually head for backcountry sites. The ranger who assisted us with our car sticker and registration was very helpful in answering our questions.

Stayed in campsite 086 for 4 nights. Campground was very good and campsites were clean. Bathrooms were plentiful and also clean. We attended a Ranger talk at the amphitheater which I highly recommend. The only concern I could really think of was that it seems Quiet Hours are not enforced. The last night, we had a group of disrespectful campers take the spot besides us. Our neighbors up to that point had been fine. However, these new campers the last night were terrible and disrespectful…..They sat up and were loud until almost 2am talking, laughing and playing an instrument while singing when quiet time was at 10pm. I can understand wanting to have fun and do all that within reason but after quiet hours, especially that late was disrespectful. My cousin and I camping next to them had to be up early the next morning and couldn’t fall asleep until almost 2:30am due to their noise and instruments. No one from the campground told them to be quiet after quiet hours. I considered saying something but didn’t want to cause more issues. I really wish the Quiet Time would be enforced but it seems like every other night everyone was fairly respectful of the quiet time so it was just this one night with these people. Other than that incident, the campground was great and views are also great.

Loops A, B, and C have more shade. Location beautiful and bathrooms clean. Shuttle was not ideal for getting back from Bear Lake, but having access to Bear Lake was wonderful. Evening hikes definitely ideal to avoid the crowds. Hope to make it an annual trip.

We had a wonderful time at the campground and exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. The campground was very well maintained and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Lovely park rangers and staff available and we met amazing people along the way. I cannot wait until we can come back and stay again!!

Clean facilities, friendly staff, and the shuttle was always on time and so convenient - I don't know what we would have done without it!

Amazing campground and love that it gave us access to Bear Lake. We stayed for four nights, which was enough time to hike many of the trails in the area.

We love camping at Glacier Basin. It's well maintained. The hiker bus is right across the road, and it's easy to access some of the park's best trails. It's a busier campground and the spots are close together, so it's not a wilderness experience. We always have a great time when we're up there.

This campground was beautiful and convenient but many of the campsites were very close together. The hike to Spague Lake was next to the campground. No driving or parking. With that many campers there was a lot of noise. My biggest concern was the amount of campfire smoke in the evening.
