What Guests Are Saying
North Fruita Desert Campground offers fantastic sites with great access to mountain biking trails, making it an ideal spot for family trips. The campground is clean, well-marked, and features nicely wooded areas for shade, along with newly paved access roads. However, some campsites are close together, which can lead to noise, and visitors are advised to bring their own toilet paper as supplies may run out.

Site was occupied well past checkout time and there was no camp host to assist.

I love 18 Road campground. It has the best campground accessible class 1 e-bike legal trails around. You must haul in your own water and haul out all your waste. Bring your own TP, because sometimes like on the weekends the pit toilets have none.
I love the trails. The dirt team that made them should be rewarded with more trails.

There was no host at 28 Road, Fruita, but everyone was respectful . I booked online and no site was available for more than 1 night, so I had to move my tent. Turned out that neither of the parties who had reserved each site for the nights I wanted showed up, so that was a wasted tent move for me. Glad I took tp as that ran out quickly and next time, I'll take a lot to leave for others. Great spot.

The campground/area is a great place to ride bikes, mountain and/or gravel. The new paved road to the campground is great. Cell reception is also good.
