Love this campground! Had a wonderful two night stay in mid-June. Campground host was very friendly, and the campground was quiet each night despite it being full.

Pretty nice campground. It appears that there was a recent fire so foliage is a little sparse, but pretty nonetheless. The restroom is right next door but we did not have any issues of other campers walking past or through our site to access them. We stayed in late May and overnight it got VERY COLD. Temperatures dipped slightly below freezing, so that's just something to keep in mind when camping anywhere in the Rockies. There were a couple trails a short drive away. While I always hear that the east side of the park is better, I still enjoyed our stay at this campground.

Timbercreek Campground was amazing!!! We had a perfect spot for our small teardrop camper, surrounded by trees and close to the bathroom! It was nice to walk down to the beautiful river area, although on one trail a momma elk charged us because she was protecting her babies! It was great having a campfire each night. They do sell wood there for $11 a bundle (about 8 logs) and sold it from 5-7PM each might which was convenient. Everyone was polite and respectful and seemed happy to be there. It was a perfect spot to set up camp and take off during the day to hike on nearby trails, go 9 miles to Grand Laje and hang out for the day, or drive all the way to Estes Park for the day! The beauty of the snow covered mountains in the distance and the beautiful blue skies and pine trees, made this campground a beautiful place to spend the week!

Great! Watch out for mosquitoes though. The Rockies aren’t what they used to be since climate change..
