Loved this campground! It was so convenient that there were bear boxes around and there were also flush toilets and drinking water. You could also buy firewood between 5-7 PM for $10 a bundle, so bring cash. I loved our site, site 21. The parking was a pull through so it would’ve been awesome for a larger vehicle that might struggle at backing up. The tent site was very spacious and we also had a picnic table and a fire pit. Would love the opportunity to come back!

Host was nosey and area was generally loud. Campsites are very close together. Bear box is far from site and shared with other groups. Overall a good campsite, but good to keep these things in mind.

Enjoyed this campground much less than Aspenglen in the park. Fair amount of road noise traffic and no shade at site. More than sure people were walking through our site to access the bathrooms after dark.

Camp Host were great. I do have a heart transplant and mobility issues, while it was nice haing site 24 as handicap, it was difficult not having an accessible bear box. Fortunately I had friends with me that could help.

Having the elk come into the campground was fun. We went to two of the 5:30 Ranger talks and enjoyed them very much. A special outing is to go to the very near by Grand Lake Lodge, such a lovely view and the food & service was great.

Loved this campground. We found the perfect spot. At night, joined the rangers for an education about the flowers in the area and then visited the Colorado River below. In the morning, we were visited by a Moose and several deer. We would definitely stay here again.

Very well presented ranger programs. Fantastic location inside the park. Some elk wandering through the campground with more in the meadow below and moose nearby

Very nice spot but I liked site 42 loop C the best. You are next to the river, drinking water , more private and a trail leading out of park to take your pets for a nice walk . The campground is amazing and so many great places to hike !
