Beautiful views, well kept, decent site sizes, and clean. Sites are not shaded so bring a shade tent. Beach access requires a short drive. No showers. Very friendly and fabulous Ranger program. Will be back!

Rangers were very informative and helpful. Was much appreciated since we are fairly new to camping in federal campgrounds. The only criticism (which can’t be remedied) is the water at the spigots. Tasted pretty bad so would advise having your own drinking water.

We stayed in D loop in order to access electricity. The whole campground was well maintained- the bathrooms were very nice, the RV pad was paved and level, the fire pit had a grill grate and the view is absolutely unbeatable. Even the primitive tent sites were awesome! We were able to catch a breathtaking sunset and a trillion stars, would definitely recommend!

Great campground close to the lake and boat ramp. All the sites are pretty flat and good for tent set-up. Nice long parking spot for a car and boat. Clean bathrooms nearby. The campfire grills work well - bring your own wood and charcoal.

Very nice campground! Sites are not too close and everything was very clean. Can’t wait to come back!

Stayed one night at Elk Creek Campground and it was incredibly peaceful. The sites are nestled in the shrubs and some back right up to the creek, which made for a super relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean and well kept, and even though there are no showers or cell service, it was nice to disconnect and enjoy nature. The stars at night were amazing, and it felt like the perfect quiet retreat after a long day of driving.

Very nice spot for our visit. Early in the season so very few campers. Enjoyed the small herd of mule deer that greeted us in the early morning. Site was level so minimal blocking was needed. Picnic tables were very nice but with the very cool weather we chose to eat inside.
