Loved it! We had a walk-in tent site only, it was great for the space but quite a distance to walk to the toilets (with little kids). Was fine given summer already and pretty warm/hot. Loved the access to two beachy areas - 1 a short driving distance, the other a little trek through the brush (can also drive outside of the campground). Our girls loved the National Park Rangers putting on talks and being able to look through a telescope. And they loved becoming Jr. Rangers.

We had site A4 and it just fit our Wawona 6 with the vestibule up. We found the bathrooms to be clean and the site pretty well maintained. We had T-Mobile so there was no signal (good lol). We couldn’t find a well defined path to the little beach from the campground so we spent the day at Bay of Chickens. Even with a really busy weekend it was still peaceful.
