Unfortunately we had a family one space down that arrived with two barking dogs that were very aggressive. Several people including us asked nicely for some relief only to be asked to mind our own business. We immediately reported this to the camp hosts at Elk Creek who immediately visited the site and explained the rules. Needless to say the noise makers made the remaining time very tense. We love ELK CREEK and the camp hosts are super but they cant do everything. Would it help to highlight the issue with folks who camp with pets that disruption will not be tolerated

We returned this year after a 10 year hiatus and the campground was just as great as we remembered. Very clean and quiet (with exception of one nearby motorhome that ran its generator for AC for long periods....). The convenience of both water fill and dump station right at entrance is a huge plus for those not wanting to haul all that weight to/from the campsite. Only negative is lack of any more trees other than the ones that have been there since the beginning, which are very few...really could stand to plant some more as it's VERY hot there during the summer.
