#8 is an amazing campsite! Lots of room and privacy, can easily fit several tents. Wilderness in the back of the site. There’s a walk through to walk down the entrance hwy. The campground host Mike was wonderful and helpful.

Sites seem pretty well spaced out in this campground, and there is good tree coverage on most of the sites. However, I think the vault toilets are small for the usage and because of that there was a smell. Camp host did a nice job keeping them clean though. It did seem like it was a very dusty place to camp - our site had a lot of powdery soil and when the wind blew that didn't help. The campground isn't far from hiking opportunities or lake activities at Eleven Mile Reservoir and Spinney Reservoir.

Campground was quiet, sites were large, fire rings and picnic tables were in good shape. Having clean and good drinking water and two separate bathrooms was nice.

We got lucky and our “wing” was totally empty so it was nice to have the privacy. The reservation nameplates were split in 3 so it was small writing and hard to read.

Beautiful small and quiet campground. Clean and seems well maintained. Could use some leveling and revision on the sites as they face the "wrong way" for RVs so when you back in your door is away from the camp site. I was in #17 which took 5 blocks to make my rig level. Great location for many miles of forest roads and trails. Thick woods and high mountain meadows everywhere! I will return.

We love this campground and have been here three times in two years. It’s always clean and and a great location.

The host this year was rude and short with us. She also made up her own rules asking rules and made us pay extra for our traile even though it was on our reservation since we had to get a larger spot to accommodate it. We filed a complaint/reimbursement never heard anything back from them or recreation.gov

Overall a good experience, sites are spread out. Busy Fairplay weekend and all sites were full.
BUT be aware, we had site#5, one of the only pull through sites. Worst site in the campground! Following the one-way loop the site puts your trailer door 4 feet from the road. Also, the site is on a 10-15 degree slope and washed out and rutted. The camp host allowed us to access the site via the wrong direction on the campground loop and that took care of having the trailer door open onto the road.

Great space at each site. Nice distance from each other site. Water from the pump tasted great and was super clean. Just drank it straight from the pump. We stayed at site 5 and 6. Perfect distance from dumpster and bathroom. Just a little walk to get there.

Definitely had a good amount of road noise in the night.

My niece heard a group of coyotes.

It was a good site for a one night stay. We camped here to be close to kite lake for some 14er summits. We left the site around 4:45am and got to kite lake around 5:30am.

Sites are big and give a lot of privacy. Heard a little bit of road noise but less than most places. I have T-mobile and had a decent signal. Bathrooms were clean but a little stinky.
