Lodgepole Campground is praised for its stunning scenery, access to hiking trails, and clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms. The site host was awful--he ran his generator all day, literally the entire time we were there. We ended up moving to another set of camp sites to get away from the noise. When I mentioned that we wanted to move away from the noise, he replied that it wasn't within quiet hours and he was entitled to run his loud, stinky generator. Yes, that may be his right but why is he a camp host if he's going to sit inside an RV or tent watching TV when the rest of us are trying to experience nature? Poor choice of a camp host.

Great campsite! We really loved how close to the Colorado Trail it is, we were able to hike the trail for a while.
Fresh water pump and clean outhouse bathrooms made for a very good stay.
