Camp host were wonderful. The sites are nice and clean but a little to close together for our comfort. The only major issue we had was the amount of wasp on our campsite. Over all the area is beautiful.

The campsite itself was standard. Facilities kept clean and campsites of average quality. However, the campgrounds were infested with yellow jackets. Most of our party was stung during our 2 day trip, including children. Meals were difficult to prepare and eating had to be done in the car. It was miserable. We were not warned of this when checking into our campsite. When leaving, questioned camp host about the conditions and she said it had been an issue due to the wet season. Would have been nice to have been warned about this when arriving. If we had not been with a large group of friends, would have left immediately.

Average campground. Experience would have been better if it wasn't for the high number of Yellow Jackets that made meals miserable. Several people in our group, including kids, were stung

My family and I took a weekend getaway trip up here, and we were sooo impressed with this camp ground!! Little bit frustrated at the beginning, due to not having cash for entering the campsite and had already drove so far to have to turn around and drive back in town to get cash. But once we found our camping spot and had everything setup, we were in heaven! Clean campsite, spacious campsite right in the middle, not too far or too close to the restrooms, quiet and, the best part, no cellphone service!! It was amazing to be able to not hear or pay attention to everything else going on in life, just family time with no electronics to interfere.

I would have rated our experience higher if it had not been the fact that the camp host had a very loud generator that ran all day long. We met a wonderful couple from Germany that have been coming to the Western part of the USA FOR 38 years for their 7 weeks of vacation.
